This app shows you the current phase of the Moon, using a simulation of the lunar surface created by NASAs Lunar Reconnaissance mission during its observations of the Moon.
* Beautiful images of the Moon were made by NASA from data collected by spacecraft.
* See the current date, phase name, illumination percentage, distance to the Earth and Moon age.
* Swipe left and right to move forward or backwards in time to see what the Moon will look like in the future or past.
* Need to find the next full Moon? You can click a button to take you to the next full Moon.
* You can also access a calendar that shows you the phase of the Moon for any date in the future.
* Press play and watch the Moon rotate through its phases, all on its own.
* Pinch to zoom the Moon in and out to reveal more details on the lunar surface, and then pan around with two fingers
* See the zodiac signs so you can find the Moon quickly in the night sky
* Turn on a full lunar atlas, with dozens of labeled locations, including landing sites, craters and lunar maria.

Phases of the Moon app good for
Its simply wonderful to be so near the Moon from so far down ! Bravo !
Wish to have the possibility to choose notifications for full moon and new moon
But all the other functions are great!
Simple, accurate, and a good reminder that the phases are not due to anything else, other than our vantage point of the Moon vis-à-vis the Sun (i.e. not due to eclipsing).
Also really like the inclusion of the Moons libration. A nice touch.

I work with dementia and I like to know what phase the moon is and when the full moon is coming. LOL
This app is amazing! Very accurate and shows the moon phases in a monthly calendar. Very useful too look at the phases in a month.
Some bad moments
App shut down my phone when I installed it and also I get weird calls an texts. Phone worked great before and I dont give out my number and its private. App looks like it works tho :p
The moon location in the zodiac is incorrect. Appears that astrological moon position is being used. Shame! Motion of moon across background stars is wrong since moon orbits to the east in northern hemisphere.
Buggy - using the app in 2 different ways (calendar and daily scrolling) yields different dates for full moon etc. Worthless if not reliable!
What more is there to say? It works, no freezes, no nonsense, does what its supposed to. ^.^
This is my favorite app! I love to see what is happening in the heavens above me.
